Every child develops at a different stage and it is important to not compare to others of the same age. Some things just take more practice and we are here to help you achieve those goals!
Our assessment will address all questions and concerns:
-
We will start with a conversation and history about some of the developmental concerns noticed and any issues addressed by your pediatrician or physician.
-
From there we will assess the body to make sure that all the muscles and joints are moving as they should and that there are no restrictions holding them back.
-
At this age we realize they might be fussy with different skills and will meet your child where they are at! We will get creative with play to assess their skills and place them in different positions that would be age appropriate to give us our best representation of what they can achieve.
-
We then will work together to use your home to adapt the environment to challenge the skills we are wanting to accomplish by giving you several exercises to help achieve the goals discussed.
"Comparison is the thief of joy."
